History

Originally founded in Buffalo,New York in 1947, the Dustex Corporation began as a designer & manufacturer of high efficiency cyclonic separators for the food industry. During the following decade, the company developed a line of dry fabric filters & marketed them throughout North America. By the 1960’s, after being acquired by American Precision Industries, Dustex had become established as the industry leader in the design & manufacture of fully portable reverse air dust collectors for the asphalt & related aggregate industries. Dustex was purchased from American Precision Industries in 1984 by key employees & became incorporated in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2006, the company relocated to its current headquarters in Kennesaw, Georgia, a suburb northwest of Atlanta.

Today, Dustex has evolved into a full-service designer & manufacturer of product recovery, air pollution control equipment & systems with unparalleled in-house engineering expertise working both nationally & internationally. Dustex remains a privately held corporation with ownership active in management & project execution.

Our aftermarket parts & control panel assembly divisions are located in Acworth, Georgia & our manufacturing facilities are in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Additional manufacturing facilities for some of the company’s product lines are located in Tennessee & Ohio.

We currently market our products through a network of North American independent manufacturers’ agents & we have Licensees in various overseas locations.
